Many patients complain that their earlobes are too big, too floppy or an unattractive shape. This can be corrected with a quick procedure done in the office. Dr Rodman numbs the area with local anesthesia and then removes extra tissue or rearranges the lobe so it is more aesthetically pleasing. Several small stitches will be placed that are removed one week after the procedure. Patients can resume normal activities after two days. The procedure takes about an hour and the patient is able to go home immediately afterward.
